Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is with the India ‘A’ team on the Sri Lanka tour, where a tri-series is being played. India defeated Sri Lanka in a thrilling first match. Although Vaibhav managed only 14 runs in that match, he provided a solid start with a brilliant 44-run innings in the second match against Afghanistan on Thursday. Praising his innings, former cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin said it displayed not just strength but also great play.

ODI World Cup 2027 will begin on October 4th
The 2027 ODI World Cup is scheduled to be held next year, and the provisional schedule has been released. Reports indicate that the tournament could begin on October 4th, with the final match expected to be played on November 21st. This year’s World Cup will be hosted by South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Namibia.
According to reports, South Africa is expected to host the majority of the World Cup matches. Approximately 41 of the 54 matches are expected to be hosted by Africa. These matches could be held at eight venues. Zimbabwe, meanwhile, could host eight to ten matches at three venues. Namibia is expected to host three matches. However, the International Cricket Council has not yet released any official information regarding the schedule.
Andheri Arcs captain Shivam Dube wreak havoc in T20 Mumbai 2026 league
In the first semi-final of the T20 Mumbai 2026 league, ARCS Andheri, captained by Shivam Dube, performed brilliantly and defeated Sarfaraz Khan-led Aakash Tigers by 5 wickets to reach the final. Batting first in this match played at the Wankhede Stadium, the Tigers scored 150 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs.
