SRH beat CSK by 10 runs
In the 27th match of IPL 2026 on Saturday, Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Chennai Super Kings by 10 runs in a thrilling contest. Chasing a target of 195 runs at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Chennai could only manage to score 184 runs. Chennai required 18 runs for victory in the final over but failed to achieve the target.
Chennai Super Kings, setting out to chase the target of 195 runs, did not get off to a good start. Sanju Samson failed to make a significant impact with the bat and was dismissed after scoring 7 runs off 3 balls. Following this, for the second wicket, Captain Ruturaj Gaikwad forged a crucial 51-run partnership with Ayush Mhatre. Ruturaj was dismissed after scoring 19 runs off 13 balls. Meanwhile, Mhatre faced 13 deliveries, scoring 30 runs with the help of 5 fours and a six. Matthew Short contributed 34 runs. Sarfaraz Khan failed to capitalize on a promising start and fell victim to Ishan Malinga after scoring 25 runs off 19 balls.
Delhi Capitals won by 6 wickets against RCB
The 26th league match of the 19th season of the Indian Premier League was played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, which the Delhi Capitals won by 6 wickets. KL Rahul and Tristan Stubbs then tried to bring the team back to victory with a 69-run partnership for the fourth wicket. However, Rahul departed with a personal score of 57. Stubbs then anchored the innings from one end and kept the run-scoring pace high, supported by captain Axar Patel and then David Miller. Gerald Coetzee to replace injured David Payne
Gerald Coetzee has been named as a replacement for David Paine, who has been ruled out of the remainder of the tournament due to a serious ankle injury. Paine played two matches for Hyderabad this season, taking two wickets. His absence was considered a major blow to the team, but Coetzee’s arrival is expected to strengthen the bowling attack. Hyderabad is currently struggling to improve its position in the points table.
Sunrisers Hyderabad have signed Coetzee at a base price of ₹2 crore (approximately $20 million). The South African bowler is renowned for his speed and aggression in international cricket. He has the ability to dismantle any batting order. Coetzee has played four Tests, 14 ODIs, and 18 T20 Internationals for South Africa. He has a total of 67 wickets at the international level. His bouncers and accurate yorkers can pose a significant challenge to opposition batsmen.
CSK set to sign Akash Madhwal as Khaleel Ahmed replacement

He is renowned for his pinpoint yorkers and his economical bowling during the death overs. Last year, he was associated with the Rajasthan Royals, though he did not get an opportunity to take the field. Now, the Chennai Super Kings are looking to bolster their bowling unit—and stage a comeback in the tournament—by integrating him into their playing XI.
