Punjab Kings beat SRH by 6 wickets
Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) faced disappointment against Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the 17th match of IPL 2026 at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in New Chandigarh. Batting first, SRH scored 219 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs, but PBKS easily achieved this target.
Punjab Kings achieved the target of 220 runs in 18.5 overs for the loss of 4 wickets and won the match by 6 wickets. This is Punjab Kings’ third win this season. They have played four matches in total, but one was abandoned due to rain. They are second in the points table with seven points. Meanwhile, Hyderabad is sixth with three losses from four matches.
Sanju Samson scores century as CSK beat Delhi by 23 runs
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) faced Delhi Capitals (DC) on Saturday evening, in the second match of the day, at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. In this clash, Chennai defeated Delhi by 23 runs to register their first win of the 19th season.
Delhi Capitals captain Axar Patel won the toss and elected to bowl first. Batting first, Chennai scored 212 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in 20 overs. Sanju Samson scored a century (115*), while Ayush Mhatre scored a half-century (59). In reply, Delhi were bowled out for 189.
For the capital-based side, Tristan Stubbs scored a quick half-century. The South African batsman scored 60 runs off 38 balls. Opener Pathum Nissanka also contributed 41 runs. For Chennai, Jamie Overton took four wickets for Chennai, while Anshul Kamboj took three wickets.

You guys focus too much on statistics, speed, and wickets, but we don’t view cricket that way.”
