Kolkata beat SRH by 7 wickets
Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 7 wickets in the 45th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026. KKR is at 8th position in the points table after winning 3 out of 9 matches, while SRH is at 3rd position after losing 4 out of 10 matches.
Sunrisers Hyderabad, who won the toss and came to bat at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, were restricted to just 165 runs in 19 overs. The opening pair of Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head gave the team a great start. Both players made a partnership of 44 runs in 22 balls. Abhishek returned to the pavilion after scoring 15 runs in 10 balls.
Gujarat Titans defeat GT by 4 wickets
In the Indian Premier League 2026, the match between Gujarat Titans (GT) vs Punjab Kings (PBKS) was played on Sunday, May 3 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. CSK all-rounder fractures leg, ruled out of IPL 2026
Ramakrishna Ghosh has been added to the list of injured Chennai Super Kings players. The CSK team confirmed via social media that Ramakrishna has been ruled out for the entire season due to a fractured foot. He recently made his IPL debut against the Mumbai Indians, taking the wicket of Suryakumar Yadav, his first wicket of his career.
The CSK team stated in an official statement that, “Ramakrishna Ghosh suffered a fracture in his right leg during the Chennai Super Kings vs. Mumbai Indians match. He will now be unable to participate in the upcoming matches of the IPL 2026 season. He also had a memorable moment in his debut match, taking a brilliant catch of Will Jacks.” Coach Stephen Fleming also acknowledged that Ghosh’s injury is a major blow to the Chennai team.
