Delhi Capitals not consistent this season, says Ian Bell

Delhi Capitals’ assistant coach Ian Bell honestly admitted the team just wasn’t consistent this season. He said they let big moments slip away because they weren’t ruthless enough when it mattered most, and that’s something they’ll focus on fixing in the upcoming games. Right now, after seven losses and only four wins, DC sits eighth on the points table and is facing the possibility of an early exit from IPL 2026.

“I think it’s been inconsistent,” Bell said ahead of DC’s clash against Punjab Kings. “We sit here now and look at a few games where we had our opportunities, and when you play in the IPL against world-class players, you have to take those moments. We probably haven’t done that ruthlessly enough.”
