Phil Salt out of DC game with injury
The defending champions, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), have suffered a setback, as the injury to one of their star batsmen has become a cause for concern. The player in question is the team’s explosive opener, Phil Salt, who has been ruled out of a second consecutive match. RCB is scheduled to play its next match on Monday, April 27, in the national capital, New Delhi.
In this fixture, the Bangalore side — led by Rajat Patidar — will face the hosts, Delhi Capitals. Although the Bangalore squad has already arrived in Delhi for this match, when they take the field, they will once again have to play the contest without Salt. The team’s batting coach, Dinesh Karthik, confirmed this development. Salt had been unable to play in the previous match as well due to the same injury.
