IND vs NZ: The New Zealand Cricket Board on Wednesday released the schedule for its 2026/27 domestic international season. Its biggest highlight will be a historic tour by India. From October to December, the Indian men’s team will embark on New Zealand’s largest-ever bilateral cricket tour, featuring 12 matches that includes five T20Is, five ODIs and two Test matches. The Indian team will tour New Zealand from October 22 to December 1, 2026.
This tour is considered one of the largest inbound tours by any foreign team in New Zealand cricket history. Matches will be held in five major cities. The New Zealand government has also announced its full support for the tour, commemorating the nearly 100-year-old sporting relationship between India and New Zealand.
New Zealand Cricket Board’s Chief Marketing and Commercial Officer Glenn Critchley said, “This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity. When it comes to cricket, there’s nothing bigger than India. We’re going to give the people of New Zealand a tour like never before. This won’t just be cricket, but a celebration of our shared history, culture, and growing friendship.”
