IND vs ENG: The BCCI has announced a 15-member Indian squad for the ODI series against England. Virat Kohli returns to the squad after missing the ODI series against Afghanistan. Jasprit Bumrah also returns, but Yashasvi Jaiswal, who scored an unbeaten century in the third ODI against Afghanistan, has been dropped.

Virat Kohli’s fitness remains a concern. The BCCI issued an official statement stating that Virat’s participation will depend on his fitness. Virat suffered a hamstring injury in the final match of IPL 2026, which prevented him from playing in the ODI series against Afghanistan.

First ODI: July 14 at Edgbaston, Birmingham
Second ODI: July 16 at Sophia Gardens, Cardiff
Third ODI: July 19 at Lord’s, London

Hardik Pandya is also missing from the squad, having not played an ODI since the 2025 Champions Trophy. Jasprit Bumrah has returned. Harshit Rana joined Team India in Chennai before the third ODI against Afghanistan, but was not included in the playing XI. Harshit has been included in both the T20 and ODI squads against England.
