IND A vs SL A: India trounce Sri Lanka in the second unofficial, Brar and Sudarshan leads the charge

The second and last match of the two unofficial test match series between India A vs Sri Lanka A (IND A vs SL A) was played in Galle. In this clash, Team India managed to win this match by 10 wickets. With this, they also won the series by 1-0. By declaring their first innings at 543 runs in the match, Team India took a lead of 177 runs over the hosts. Saransh Jain remained unbeaten after scoring 70 runs. In the second innings, Sri Lanka scored 209 runs and set a target of 33 runs for Team India, which Team India achieved easily. Sai Sudarshan remained unbeaten after scoring 25 runs in the second innings.

Sai Sudarshan scored a century for Team India

By the end of the third day’s play, India had taken a 175-run lead over Sri Lanka. Saransh Jain was dismissed for 70. By the end of the third day, India’s score was 541 for 8. Sai Sudarshan played a key role in reaching this score. He scored a brilliant 168, marking the second Test century . Devdutt Padikkal was dismissed for 94, narrowly missing out on a century. India’s captain Dhruv Jurel also scored a century and scored 53. Following this, Gurnur Brar bowled brilliantly, bowling Sri Lanka out for 209 in the second innings. Gurnur Brar took six wickets in the second innings, following his four wickets in the first. This gave him a total of 10 wickets in the match.

Sri Lanka scored 366 runs in the first innings

Speaking of the Sri Lankan innings, India A won the toss and elected to bowl first. Sri Lanka A posted 366 runs in their first innings. Captain Sahan Arachchige scored a brilliant century, scoring 127 runs. Anjala Bandara contributed 42 runs and Nuwanindu Fernando contributed 44 runs in the first innings for Sri Lanka. It was their innings that helped Sri Lanka A reach this total.
