Archer did not name veterans like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.

Speaking on the YouTube channel “Super Over,” Archer revealed that he found KL Rahul the most difficult batsman to bowl to. Archer said on the show, “Probably KL Rahul in the first few years of the IPL. He was at his peak then. I thought he could hit any ball anywhere. He was very difficult to bowl to.”

ICC introduces new post-pregnancy return-to-play guidelines

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has permanently liberated female players from the dilemma of having to choose between motherhood and representing their country. During a rest day at the Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 being held in England, the ICC launched its historic ‘Return to Play Post-Pregnancy’ guidelines. This new policy provides a practical framework for female players, cricket boards, medical staff, and coaches to support players practically, physically, and mentally. The guidelines are based on a specific ‘6 Rs’ framework, comprising the stages of Ready, Review, Restore, Recondition, Return, and Refine. The process covers everything from initial post-birth recovery and medical assessments to regaining physical fitness, commencing gradual structured training, cricket-specific conditioning, and ongoing monitoring after the return to the field. Under this policy, provisions will be made for suitable spaces for breastfeeding or childcare at stadiums, flexible training environments, childcare advice, and comprehensive support during travel.

“He is putting everyone to shame,” Aakash Chopra on Vaibhav Sooryavanshi

The India A team, led by Tilak Varma, clinched the title by defeating Sri Lanka A in the tri-series final on Sunday, June 21. The hero of India’s victory was 15-year-old explosive batter Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, who played a blistering knock of 94 runs off just 29 balls. During this innings, Vaibhav set a world record for the fastest List A half-century, reaching the milestone in just 11 balls.

Speaking about Vaibhav Sooryavanshi’s explosive innings in the final, Aakash Chopra said on his YouTube channel, “What is this boy doing? He is putting everyone to shame. Initially, it makes everyone feel a bit uncomfortable—wondering how he can play like that—because we are all playing in the same environment. Ruturaj Gaikwad, Priyansh Arya, and Tilak Varma were there too. This is a very good India A team.”

Rishabh Pant was removed by the LSG management

Rishabh Pant captained the Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2026. The team’s poor form continued this season, finishing last in the points table. The franchise’s performance led to criticism of captain Rishabh Pant. Just two days before the final match, the wicketkeeper-batsman decided to step down as captain. The Lucknow management shared this information on social media. Now, a report regarding that statement has revealed a significant revelation.

A statement from Lucknow Super Giants released on social media stated that Rishabh Pant personally approached the management with his decision to relinquish the captaincy, and the management has accepted his decision. The experience he has shared with the team as captain is invaluable. A report by Cricblogger now states that the decision to remove Pant from captaincy was made immediately after the IPL season ended. At that time, Pant also decided to leave the team because he felt undervalued.
