Gujarat Titans’ bus catches fire after IPL 2026 final

The Gujarat team bus caught fire, causing panic. Reports indicate that the team was stranded on the road for at least an hour. However, all players and support staff were safely evacuated.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi won 5 awards in IPL 2026

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, at the age of just 15, became the youngest Orange Cap winner in IPL history with 776 runs. The Ireland Women’s team secured their first victory in the Tri-Series with a comprehensive win over the Pakistan Women’s team. They defeated the Pakistan Women’s team by 8 wickets. Pakistan Women won the toss and elected to bat first! Thanks to Muneeba Ali’s 65 off 41 balls and an 88-run partnership with Saira Jabeen (36), Pakistan Women managed to post 176/6 at the end of their 20 overs. Eva Canning was the best bowler for Ireland Women, taking 2 wickets for 35 runs in her 4 overs.

Gloucestershire won by 56 runs against Yorkshire

Yorkshire’s winning streak stopped short, even with Adam Lyth smashing 97 off 56 balls as he tried to catch Gloucestershire’s massive target of 218 at Headingley. Gloucestershire walked away with a 56-run win, powered by Australian D’Arcy Short. He set the tone, opening with 82 from 50 balls, then came back with four wickets for just 30 runs using his left-arm wrist spin. Yorkshire’s Hassan Ali managed to take three wickets, but their lineup fell apart, bowled out for 161 in less than 18 overs. South African pacer Duan Jansen grabbed three wickets too, sealing the deal for Gloucestershire.
