Quinton de Kock has slammed yet another half-century in the Indian Premier League (IPL), with his latest one coming against Punjab Kings (PBKS) at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. Playing his first match of the season, de Kock bided his time initially and also survived a close run-out call, but has managed to capitalise on it by scoring a fifty, getting to the milestone off just 28 deliveries.
With this knock, de Kock has now gone past MS Dhoni’s record of most 50-plus scores in IPL as a wicketkeeper. Only KL Rahul has more 50-plus scores as a designated wicketkeeper in the IPL.
