BCCI changes venue of Duleep Trophy 2026-27 final match
The Duleep Trophy 2026-27 final, scheduled to be held next month, will be moved from the Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru to the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) said on Wednesday that the decision to shift the final to Chennai was taken to ensure that more spectators can watch this important domestic match from the stadium. The final will be played from September 6 to 10.
“The Duleep Trophy 2026-27 final has been shifted from the Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Bengaluru to the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. This is aimed at providing spectators with an opportunity to watch the final in the stadium from September 6 to 10,” the BCCI said in a statement. The remaining matches of the tournament will be played as scheduled at the COE in Bengaluru, starting August 23rd.
