Spins, scares and statement victories light up Day 3
Vidarbha survive Srinagar scare
Vidarbha endured a dramatic collapse before squeezing past Jammu & Kashmir by three wickets. Chasing only 79 on a deteriorating surface, they slumped to 26/6 as J&K’s bowlers tore through the top order. Harsh Dubey and Nachiket Bhute then absorbed the pressure and steered Vidarbha home in a gripping finish.
Sai Kishore spins Tamil Nadu to glory
Tamil Nadu swept aside Uttarakhand by an innings and 66 runs in Chennai. Left-arm spinner R. Sai Kishore produced the day’s defining spell, completing a brilliant hat-trick during a devastating six-wicket haul as Uttarakhand’s second innings unravelled and Tamil Nadu sealed a commanding victory.
Bengal hold their nerve in Delhi
Bengal ground out a hard-fought 60-run victory over Services at the Palam Stadium. Shahbaz Ahmed and Aamir Gani claimed four wickets apiece in the first innings, while Abhimanyu Easwaran’s gritty 56 and Abishek Porel’s resistance proved crucial before Bengal’s disciplined spin attack settled the tense, low-scoring contest.
Baroda blast Bihar aside
Baroda completed a crushing 10-wicket victory in Vadodara after dominating from start to finish. Their imposing first-innings total of 416 set the tone, the bowlers dismissed Bihar cheaply, and the openers polished off the modest target in a single over without losing a wicket.
Other completed matches
Uttar Pradesh secured a hard-earned 68-run win over Goa in Kanpur, powered by Kartik Yadav’s fine bowling as Goa fell well short of the target. Haryana wrapped up a clinical innings-and-24-run victory over Chandigarh, while Assam cruised to a comfortable nine-wicket success against Tripura.
Ongoing matches

Delhi’s 648/6 declared kept Gujarat under pressure despite Manan Hingrajia’s 108, while Kerala and Punjab enforced follow-ons against Odisha and Chhattisgarh. Maharashtra had Jharkhand struggling, Madhya Pradesh pressed Pondicherry after Rajat Patidar’s fluent fifty, Hyderabad’s disciplined bowling troubled Andhra, Rajasthan’s 497 tested Railways, and half-centuries from KV Aneesh and Karun Nair kept Karnataka ahead of Saurashtra.
Plate group fireworks
Sikkim crushed Arunachal Pradesh by an innings and 328 runs after declaring at 572/5. Meghalaya’s 380 left Manipur chasing 265 with ten wickets intact. The showstopper, however, was Chinmay Sutar’s historic unbeaten 400, powering Mizoram to 581/9 declared and leaving Nagaland staring at a mountain in a breathtaking display of batting dominance overall.
