The Indian Under-19 team completed a 3-0 clean sweep against the Australian Under-19 team in the three-match Youth ODI series (IND U19 vs AUS 19). India defeated Australia by six wickets in the third match. Indian captain Lakshya Rajesh Raichandani played an unbeaten century, scoring 110 runs to guide the team to a comfortable victory.

Yashbardhan Singh Chauhan, the hero of the previous match, did not play for the Indian team in this game. The India Under-19 team faced a target of 255 runs. At one stage, the match seemed to be slipping away as India lost their third and fourth wickets quickly, with around 80 runs still needed for victory. Captain Lakshya held firm at one end, while wicketkeeper-batter Rajat Baghel—who had come into the team replacing Anvay Dravid—scored an unbeaten 44 off 34 balls to steer the team to a win.

Lakshya and Rajat shared an unbroken 80-run partnership for the fifth wicket. Batting first, the Australian team was bowled out for 254 runs in 49.3 overs. India subsequently chased down the target in 41.2 overs for the loss of four wickets. India had won the first match of the series by 7 runs and the second by 103 runs; with this victory in the third match, they have completed a clean sweep against the Australians.

The Australian Under-19 team will now play two unofficial four-day Test matches during this tour of India. The first match is scheduled from September 27 to September 30 at the Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot. The second match will be played from October 5 to October 8, 2026, at Ground B of the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
