Greaves made 73 and Chase made 70. West Indies lost their last four wickets for just 40 runs. Thus, the West Indies’ first innings ended at 344.

Pakistan’s strong comeback

Pakistan, which had lost the first match by 90 runs, made a strong comeback this time. Imam-ul-Haq failed to make any significant impact, but his opening partner Azan Awais contributed 55 runs. Pakistan had lost two wickets by the score of 98, but Babar Azam and Abdullah Shafiq then made the West Indies bowlers struggle for wickets.

Babar and Shafiq have already added 168 runs. Shafiq has scored his sixth Test century, while Babar Azam is just 14 runs short of a century. Babar has scored 86 runs from 126 balls.

Babar Azam close to creating a record

Babar Azam is just 14 runs away from scoring his 10th Test century. Previously, 16 cricketers have scored 10 or more Test centuries for Pakistan, and now Babar Azam is just 14 runs away from joining this list. He has surpassed former England captain Alastair Cook for the most international runs. It’s also worth noting that this will be Babar’s 33rd international century. He is fourth on the list of most centuries scored for Pakistan in international cricket.
