Left-arm spinner Arafat Minhas made an immediate impact on his One-Day International (ODI) debut as he picked up a five-wicket haul against Australia on May 30 (Saturday) in Rawalpindi. His fifer helped Pakistan restrict Australia to just 200, bowling them out inside 45 overs. Minhas finished with 5/32 from his 10 overs, accounting for the wickets of Matthew Short, Josh Inglis, Marnus Labuschagne, Cameron Green and Nathan Ellis.
As a result, he has now registered the best bowling figures on ODI debut for Pakistan. Moreover, he is the only Pakistani bowler to pick up a fifer on ODI debut.
