Canada scored a decent 173/4 in their 20 overs that was clinically chased by the Black Caps with 29 balls to spare.
The match between Ireland and Zimbabwe was abandoned without a ball being bowled.
Nepal looked brilliant during their chase against Scotland and won the match convincingly by seven wickets. Thank to 71 by Michael Jones, Scotland scored 170/7 to which Nepal started responding with a steady start. They faltered in the middle overs but eventually managed to chase down the target in the final over. Nepal registered their first win in the T20 World Cup since 2014.

Despite leaving the T20 World Cup 2026 at the early stages of the tournament. The UAE coach Lalchand Rajput asked to not take the Associates lightly. UAE will play their last group stage match against South Africa in Delhi. According to Rajput, they are not returning empty-handed.
“Don’t take us lightly”, UAE coach
“I’m not surprised with [how the] Associate teams [have performed] because we play among the associates. It’s a big platform for the Associates to show off their talent. And I think they have done that,” Rajput said at UAE’s pre-match press conference on Tuesday. “If you look at overall cricket all over the world, the smaller teams are really coming up. It’s a good thing that cricket is growing and that Associate countries have put their hands up and said: ‘don’t take us lightly’.”
