It was yet another successful run-chase by the Punjab Kings (PBKS), who, with their five-wicket victory over Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on April 3 (Friday), have won both their matches in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026. CSK, on the other hand, clumped to their second defeat of the season in as many games.
Set 210 to win, PBKS never looked in any sort of trouble right from the outset, with Priyansh Arya (39 off 11) and Prabhsimran Singh (43 off 34) putting on 61 for the first wicket in just 4.2 overs.
Later on, valuable contributions from Cooper Connolly (36 off 33) and skipper Shreyas Iyer (50 off 29) helped PBKS not just chase down 210 with ease, but have also registered their highest successful chase against the Yellow in the IPL
