The BCCI on March 26 (Thursday) announced fixtures for India’s home season, including multi-format series against Australia, Sri Lanka, West Indies and Zimbabwe. A total of 22 matches will be played, starting with the incoming tour of West Indies, starting September 27.
India and West Indies will play three ODIs and five T20Is, from September 27 onwards, and will reach their conclusion on October 17 with the fifth T20I in Bengaluru.
Sri Lanka will then visit India, playing six white-ball matches, including three ODIs and as many T20Is, at the end of the year. The tour will go on from December 13 to December 27.
Zimbabwe will tour India for a bilateral series for the first time since 2002. The Cheverons will play three ODIs between January 3 and 9, in Kolkata, Hyderabad and Mumbai.
The season will end with a blockbuster five-match Test series against Australia, starting January 21, with the first Test in Nagpur. The action will then shift to Chennai (Jan 29), Guwahati (11 Feb), Ranchi (19 Feb) and Ahmedabad (Feb 27).
After the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026, India will play three ODIs against Afghanistan at home, starting June 6.
