Indian cricket team is set to tour Zimbabwe for a three-match T20I series in July 2026. On Wednesday the BCCI announced the dates for the same with all games scheduled to be played at the Harare Sports Club, Harare.
Indian team had last travelled to Zimbabwe in 2024 and played five T20Is. This time India will travel to Zimbabwe right after their tour of Ireland where they will play two T20Is on June 26 and 28 in Belfast. India’s tour of Ireland is scheduled after their one-off Test and three-match ODI series against Afghanistan at home. After the conclusion of the Indian Premier League, Indian players will be immediately busy with the tight schedule lined up over few months.
India will take on Zimbabwe in three T20Is on July 23, 25, and 26 at Harare after facing England for a full-fledged white-balls series starting on July 1.
The BCCI, in their official statement also said, “Zimbabwe is also scheduled to travel to India for a three-match ODI series in January 2027. The three ODIs will be played at Kolkata, Hyderabad and Mumbai respectively.” With back-to-backs international fixtures lined up, no wonder Indian cricket team management will have to focus on the player’s workload and rotation especially with the ODI World Cup 2027 knocking at the door.
