Jos Buttler was going to be key for Gujarat Titans (GT) in their quest to get to about 190 against Punjab Kings (PBKS) in Match 4 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 and make a match of it. However, Yuzvendra Chahal and Xavier Bartlett ensured that Buttler could not take the game away from them. Bowling his final over, the leg-spinner bowled a full delivery to Buttler, who looked to clear the long-on fence after two dots in a row.
However, Bartlett was smartly positioned there and jumped his time perfectly well to grab the ball with both his hands. He made it look extremely easy, making the best of his height, which stands at 6ft & 2 inches. Bartlett (0/36) may not have made an impact with the ball, but he has certainly made his presence felt on the field.

This was Chahal’s second wicket of the match and the third time he has gotten Buttler out in T20s. He also got the better of Shubman Gill earlier in the match.
Since Buttler’s dismissal, GT managed to score just 33 runs from 26 balls to get to 162/6 in 20 overs. Earlier, PBKS won the toss and had no hesitation in bowling first. They will be pleased with the way they have gone about their bowling. Other than Chahal, Vijaykumar Vyshak was among the wickets, finishing with 3/34.
