In the lead up to the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026, there have been plenty of reports suggesting Virat Kohli has demanded a private jet to chauffeur him between India and London, where he currently resides with his wife and children. The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) batter has, however, rubbished such reports with a simple emoji on social media.

According to reports, Kohli had apparently demanded a chartered flight from the RCB management, further adding that he would use the service if there are three or more days between two games. With Kohli reacting the way he did, it is clear that these reports are false.
Kohli is the leading run-getter in IPL, with 8,661 runs in the tournament with eight centuries and 63 fifties. He finished with 657 runs in IPL 2025 to help his side win their maiden title.
RCB get their IPL 2026 campaign underway against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru on March 28 (Saturday).
